Singer-songwriter—and now Broadway-bound Kinky Boots composer—Cyndi Lauper has come a long way from her childhood in Queens, New York! Now the pop star and activist is sharing her life story in Cyndi Lauper: A Memoir, written with Jancee Dunn. On September 18, Lauper discussed her new book and greeted fans at the Tribeca Barnes & Noble in New York, and Broadway.com captured a fun Hot Shot (love the lobster ring!) at the event.
